Character
Name: Greg Saunders
Series: DCAU
Timeline: After the end of Justice League Unlimited

Personality: The first thing you can say about Greg Saunders is that he's incredibly brave. He's willing to charge into battle against aliens and giant monsters with nothing but a pair of guns and a lasso. Admittedly they're special guns, but considering the level of tech some of the other Leaguers throw around the guns are not that special.

On the surface, he's generally a friendly sort, if occasionally a little blunt when not pouring on the charm. Which he can do excessively well, being a natural showman. He's got a gift for changing people's opinions, especially if he's got a guitar with him. He's also pretty good at making friends. Not the best, but the fact that his best friend is an Arthurian Knight despite their wildly different upbringings probably says something about that ability.

The friendliness can go away quickly if you've done something to make him hold a grudge against you. And the grudges he holds aren't the kinds that are easily forgiven or forgotten. The grudges tend to be entirely warranted as well, given how he was treated by the Thanagarians and what they'd planned to do.

As an extension of this, he absolutely hates traitors. Hawkgirl's involvement in the Thanagarian invasion earned her a significant amount of ire from Greg.

Even if Greg does hold a grudge, he can put it aside for the greater good. Not without complaints or snide remarks, but he can do it. He just won't be happy about it.

When hexs snide, he is very snide. There's Backtalk, insults, under-the-breath comments, and even slurs. The latter mostly seem to be directed at the Thanagariand.

Unfortunately, even when he knuckles down and starts working with someone he doesn't trust, he's prone to throwing accusations around at the slightest provocation.

He's generally calm and collected under pressure. When encountering the Thanagarians again, he was mad, but he didn't let him keep him from doing his job. During the fight with Eiling, a fight he and the other non-Powered Leaguers had very little chance of winning, he did his best to keep Eiling contained and keep civilians out of the crossfire without losing his head.

That said, his hatred at the Thanagarians made him a little less careful than he really should have been. He nearly gave away his, Shayera, and Vixen's position by trying to shoot one of them down. Him developing a similar grudge against someone else would probably lead to him making similar mistakes.

Greg can also be clever when he needs to be. He got a Thanagarian to fall for a simple rope trap. He also tricked some particularly foolhardy kids into leaving the area of the fight against Eiling by giving them the job of getting other people to evacuate.

He's a huge fan of Clint Eastwood movies, and can be a little defensive of them.

He's prone to hiding potentially hindering injuries, or just neglecting to inform people of them until they call him on it.
